Accelify, LLC (Accelify) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) to provide software products and services to manage the District’s Medicaid claiming program. This contract was awarded as part of a competitive RFP process initiated by the Alexandria City School Board.

Accelify’s suite of systems manage the entire continuum of care for special education students from the referral process and IEP creation to service delivery and Medicaid billing, providing valuable insight into district operations to enhance Special Education processes and provide critical data to inform better decision-making. The contract awarded includes several of Accelify’s web-based data management systems, including AcceliTRACK, AcceliCLAIM, AcceliROUTE and AccelPCS.

Accelify’s AcceliTRACK system provides districts with tools to better manage their special education related services departments. The system allows providers to more efficiently manage their caseloads with multiple options for scheduling and recording services, and real-time visibility into where they stand with their entire caseload. When integrated with AcceliCLAIM, Accelify’s web-based Medicaid billing system, the system runs in-depth automated validations to convert eligible services into valid Medicaid claims and submits these claims for reimbursement. By automating these processes, AcceliCLAIM significantly reduces the workload associated with developing Medicaid claims, and increases the number of valid claims submitted for reimbursement. AcceliCLAIM also provides analytics tools that provide actionable data to drive special education decisions and better manage the Medicaid reimbursement lifecycle.

AcceliROUTE simplifies student transportation management and billing. The system provides options to build or import bus routes from third-party routing systems, and providers multiple options for data capture – both electronic and manual. When integrated with AcceliCLAIM, the system automatically matches transportation services to billable direct health services to produce valid transportation Medicaid claims. These systems greatly reduce staff effort while significantly increasing transportation claiming. Similarly, AccelPCS has been proven to greatly increase Personal Care reimbursement while eliminating the need for costly technology for paraprofessionals.
