November 15, 2010

LOS ANGELES, November 15, 2010 — Accelify, LLC is pleased to announce that Orland Joint Unified School District (OJUSD) has signed on as a new client.  Accelify aims to maximize Medi-Cal reimbursements for OJUSD by managing the district’s Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) program.

“Accelify welcomes Orland Joint Unified School District as a client” said Alex Brecher, COO, Accelify. “Based on our track record of success in C alifornia, we believe that the district will benefit greatly from this partnership.”

Approximately 100 miles north of Sacramento in Glenn County, OJUSD is located in a largely agricultural region of the Sacramento River Valley. OJUSD serves 2,300 students in seven schools and offers an array of educational opportunities, including a full K-12 music program, an extensive vocational education program, advanced placement courses, and an award-winning agriculture program. OJUSD has maintained one of the lowest student-to-teacher ratios in the region and offers a unique program called Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) for disadvantaged students who demonstrate high potential. OJUSD is under the leadership of Superintendent Chris von Kleist.

With over 20 years of experience in school-based Medicaid, Accelify relies on a highly skilled team to provide world-class services to school districts. To keep the company on the frontlines of education- and Medi-Cal-related issues in California, Accelify established a California Board of Advisors. Huguenin, Western States Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee; Sandy Gilbert, Ed.D, former Program Specialist in Special Education for the Desert Sands Unified School District;  and Stephen Blake, Former Executive Director of the Governor’s Committee on Education Excellence. With the board’s guidance, Accelify is poised to achieve its top priority: Ensuring that school districts receive their full shares of Medi-Cal reimbursements.
